Enyinnaya Orji, the former speaker for Abia, leaves the PDP
Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, the former speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Enyinnaya is the son of former Abia State Governor Theodore Orji.
The former speaker gave a Monday night briefing to a few of his closest supporters, stating that the action had grown extremely important.
“I have made the personal choice to leave the PDP after considerable consideration. We should go on with our lives now,” he declared.
The resignation follows the recent PDP membership resignation of Chris Nwagboso, a former Deputy Chief of Staff (office of the Deputy Governor) in Abia State.
In a letter that he personally sent to the PDP Ward Chairman of Ehi-Na-Uguru/Osokwa Ward 5, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Abia State, Nwagboso announced his resignation.
A parallel event is the resignation of every member of the PDP’s executive committee from Item ward C in the Bende local government area of the state.
Remember that the Labour Party, LP, defeated the PDP in the most recent state gubernatorial contest, and Alex Otti was declared the victor.
